day five (one better day)

 

Day Five Tasks

Change will happen; either we make it happen, or it happens to us.
1. Take a bath or shower. Wear cologne, perfume, deodorant, floss and brush your teeth. 
Best if you can do this without clothing.

2. Wear your favorite outfit today. The one that you wish you could wear every day because of how it makes you feel. 
  • Hmmm. Wiekszosc moich ubran jest wciaz w pralni, bo nie mialam czasu ich odebrac. Ale w sumie, mam skompletowana garderoba biurowa tak, zer wszystkich ubraniach w zasadzie czuje sie dobrze. Wciaz jednak licze na dramatyczny spadek wagi, stad nie kupilam w tym roku zadnej zimowej odziezy.
3. Review your hourly chart.
When were you most and least productive. When did you waste time.
We need to be clear here. If you are being paid to work eight hours, then you need to work eight hours. "Getting by" accomplishes nothing. Slacking is not a virtue. You win nothing if you do less. Doing the best job you can has nothing to do with the company. It has to do with you; it has to do with personal integrity. Look at your hourly sheet. If you were your boss, would you be happy with your performance? You are your boss. How can you feel good about what you do if even you don't respect yourself enough to "put in a good eight hours?" Whether you're making $5.00 per hour or $500 per hour is irrelevant. If you expect to feel good about you, you need to do the best you can in everything you do: particularly that huge chunk of time you spend at work. 

  • Zaczelam robic te zapiski, ale w ciagu dnia jestem zazwyczaj tak zajeta, ze zapominam o tym. Jednak lapie sie na tym ze pracuje chaotycznie, czesto robie kilka rzeczy naraz - pracuje wiecej godzin niz te ktore mam w kontrakcie, ale czy jestem az tak wydajna?  Zrobie kolejne podejscie do tego zadania.

4. After reviewing your chart, write down three activities that gave you the most personal satisfaction; that you most enjoyed doing today.

  • Ostatnio duzo czasu spedzam na zamykaniu budzetow i analizie tegorocznego programu. Robie juz plany na nastepny rok. Pracuje z grafikiem nad ladnymi kartkami swiatecznymi, i podziekowaniami - mamy nadwyzke w budzetach i mozemy pozwolic sobie na ta elegancje. Mam teraz troche wiecej oddechu i cieszy mnie to ze moge pracowac troche wolniej i z rozmyslem.

5. Make a new chart for tomorrow. SAVE TODAY'S CHART!!!! Put it in your notebook, we will be looking at again in later days.

6. The names that you circled yesterday. Without being intrusive or nosey, try to learn out more about their background; where they went to school, how many children they have... you are only looking for information or "good" stuff. 

  • Mialam okazje dowiedziec sie troche wiecej o kolegach mojego meza, poniewaz bylismy na bardzo przyjemnym przyjeciu swiatecznym i siedzieliemy wspolnie przy jednym stoliku.
7. Take two more photos, adult people only.
  • Nie zrobione. Jutro zaprosilam grupe przyjaciol na fasolke po bretonsku, wiec zrobie troche zdjec.
8. At the end of the day, sit quietly in your living room or bedroom and write down the three or four things you most like about this unique environment. 
  • Kolor scian mojego pokoiku, ktory po wyprwadzce starszych chlopcow zamienilam w swoje biuro. Sama go malowalam, i urzadzilam. Sciany sa koloru owoca avocado - taka jasna, troche zoltawa zielen. Mam tutaj duze wygodne biurko, moje ulubione ksiazki, dobry komputer , ktory zbudowal mi B.
8. Put $1.25 in cash in a glass on your bedstand.
Accumulating tasks... just a reminder---
Eye contact always with everyone you meet. Receipts. Making your bed. Photos. Names of any new people you meet. Background notes on the people that you have trouble liking.
